Cystic acne causes deep cysts, inflammation, scarring, and much damage to the skin. Severe acne can sometimes require years of treatment but not in all cases. Almost every case of acne is treatable.

Even though this is a powerful product it comes with many bad side effects. The side effects are the following:
- Nausea or vomiting
- Severe pain in the chest or abdomen

- Severe headache, blurred vision or dizziness

4. A fourth way to treat acne is by using oral antibiotics. This has been used by many people over the years to treat cystic acne. Oral antibiotics work the same way as topical ones which work to reduce P. acne residue(a large factor in acne) on your skin which leads to inflammation. When You First start using it one you will use a high dosage but later on it will be reduced. Over time the P. acne can become resistant to the antibiotic youre using. When this happens you can usually be prescribed a different one. The main ones used in the U.S. are aredoxycline, erythromycin, minocycline and tetracycline.
