If you’re reading this article it means you’re like me, and thousands of other people who suffer with acne(and more specifically the cystic kind). After 12 years with bad face and body acne, here are some hints on how to treat it and get completely clear.
Proper treatment of cystic acne can be a difficult process if you don’t know what you’re doing. Like I said, I had it for over 12 years! How’s that for a confidence destroyer? Being completely clear now, I am going to share some tips I learned over the years.
The number one thing you must realize is that creams have almost zero effect on cystic acne. This form of acne is far too deep under the skin and creams will not reach it.
The next thing you should know is that harmful drugs and pills like anti-biotics will also not work. Infact, if you are looking to treat acne these drugs can actually make it worse in the long run.
So what can you do?
First of all, diet is crucial when it comes to cysts because most of it has to do with out of whack hormones (which food has a huge impact on). Avoiding foods that spike insulin and hormone levels is key. Dairy is one of the worst things you can ingest if you have bad cystic acne.
Secondly, exercise is great for reducing stress and regulating hormones. It also improves circulation in order to remove toxins from your body. No more toxins = no more cystic acne!
Lastly, if you have an especially severe case, you can start supplementing with all natural supplements. Always consult your doctor before taking anything that you don’t already normally take.
